A Buddhist service called Kejo-e to pray for the good health of the Virocana Buddha is held at the Great Buddha Hall. In front of the Great Buddha Hall, a 2 meter long ring made of Kaya grass is set up, and after priests pass through this ring, the Buddhist service is held. Worshippers can also pass through the kaya grass ring to dispel any diseases after the Buddhist service.
