Oct. 6th (13:30): Noto Peninsula Earthquake and Floods Recovery Support Programme

On New Year’s Day, this year, Noto peninsula in Ishikawa prefecture was severely damaged by a major earthquake.

Unfortunately, on Sept. 21st Noto peninsula was hit again by flooding and landslides caused by torrential downpour, resulting in extensive damage.

The performers of “GOJINJO-DAIKO Drums”, which is intangible folk-cultural properties designated by Ishikawa prefecture, will visit Nara and offer their performance according to the following schedule.

Fundraising will be held on the day to support for inheriting of this traditional performance.
