On Aug. 28th, the whole building of Todaiji Culture Center will be closed due to legal inspection.

From Aug. 28th to Sep. 30th, Todaiji Museum will be closed due to exhibition change and any other facilities such as each hall, café, shop and lavatory in the Todaiji Culture Center can be continuously opened.

Since July 1, 2020, due to conservation repairs and earthquake-proofing work, Kaidan-dō at kaidan-in has been temporarily closed, and Four Divine Kings are now available for viewing at the Todaiji Museum. Todaiji Museum will be closed from Aug. 28th to Sep. 30th for the relocation of Four Divine Kings in preparation for the reopening of Kaidan-dō in the fall of this year. Reopening is scheduled on Oct. 1st.
